Hilliard, who stood nearby, clenched her fists and interjected coldly, “I’m still here. Take your affection somewhere else.”
Then Cyrus gazed up at the empty balcony on the third floor.
Nathan had already retreated to his bedroom and shut the window.
Cyrus was unaware of when Nathan went back inside the room.

We’ll be really busy these next couple of days. Originally, we planned on ordering takeout for Nathan after the surgery. But since you’re here, could you cook some nutritious food for him?” Cyrus requested.

They had initially planned to take Nathan to the hospital in the afternoon, but Mylo and Mekhi arrived earlier than they thought. By this time, they had just left, indicating that they had relaxed their surveillance of N&L Fairy Land.
